| Name: The Darkness Age: 28 Height: 6 feet 6 inches Weight: 280 pounds Gimmick: Tweener Hometown: Indianapolis, Indiana Allies: N/A Enemies: N/A Entrance Song: Let It Bleed by The Used Appearance: A very bulky man. He has a clown face painted in different various forms, usually depending on mood, and circumstances. He compliments the face with long black hair that is generally is wet and clinging to his shoulders. He wears ripped up jeans, and various rock band t-shirts. He gives off a very quiet powerful aura about him. Background: The Darkness was the grandson of Pro Wrestling Hall of Famer, Max Blaze, who had always been very close with his grandson. The Darkness grew up very scrawny, and he was very unsure of himself in everything he did as he never felt like he was truely important. When The Darkness was a teenager, his grandfather passed away and to The Darkness he left his wrestling boots and his very first weight set with a note that said "Never be afraid of who you are, or what you can be." The Darkness took this as a sign that his grandfather wanted him to do bigger and better things. The Darkness began to work every day on his physique and so became incredible in stature. He tried out for the wrestling team one day, and soon he became one of the top wrestlers in the state of Indiana. After he graduated high school, he felt out of place and without a purpose. He decided he would try out for one of the larger professional wrestling promotions in Indiana and try to make a name for himself. They loved his skill set, and were amazed by his body condition, but they told him that he didn't have that "It" look. As he went home feeling dejected, he decided if they weren't going to let him in, he was going to make them change their mind. He went home and painted his face in the image of the story clown "It" from the Stephen King novel, and he gave himself the name The Darkness. He decided his name would stand for his whole purpose when he wrestled. He wants his opponents after every match to only see one thing, pure Darkness. He promised himself that he would never let anyone push him around, or tell him that he wasn't good enough. He went back to that promotion and raised such a hell of fury that they immediately threw an offer onto the table, and The Darkness rejected it saying "I have better things ahead of me than a cheap wrestling motel that can't tell talent." He has conquered every wrestling promotion that he has went through, and after every fight no matter what, he will go until his opponents see the very thing he promised that night in the mirror while staring back into his freshly painted clown face, Darkness. Gimmick: The Darkness is a pure face who loves to inject himself into fights where he feels people are being injusticed. His only problem is if he doesn't feel as if his opponent has taken a good even beating, he will continue to attack after the match, and can sometimes take it too far. | |
