Background: Steven was born into a low-level income family in Alburquerque, New Mexico. He started competing in collegiate-style wrestling when he was in the fifth grade. This was also the same year that he met Amy, the girl who he aspired to marry after high school. He continued to do wrestling every year until he graduated from high school when he was eighteen. Steven's parents had hoped that he would pursue further education by going to college; however, Steven had other intentions in mind. He used the little money his parents gave him for college and the money he saved up his whole life to pay for professional wrestling school. His parents were extremely disappointed when they heard about this, and when he told Amy about it, she laughed in his face. He was planning on proposing to Amy on that same night he told her about his newfound career, but he chose not to after she told him that she was going to Washington State University to get a degree in Secondary Education. He began to think then that a marriage between the two of them would never work if Amy thought so lowly of his career; she might have even said no because of his career choice. Steven tried to make himself believe that the real reason he didn't ask was because he didn't want to have to move to Washington, but deep down he knew that wasn't it. That was the last time he ever saw Amy, and he's been a bitter man ever since.

Gimmick: In the ring, Storm is known as a cold and calculating mat-based technician. Outside of the ring he comes off as even colder, almost to the point that some consider him antisocial. When he does communicate when other people, it is usually to criticize them or to tell them how good he is compared to them.
