Gimmick: Rod Lightning is a Mexican luchador, he's a face but can be a little bit cocky at times. He a fan favorite, the fans love him and he loves them. You could say he's a bit of a poser. Always trying to entertain the fans, due to his experience advantage he's not caught of guard that easy during a taunt.

(original Rod): Rod lightning has green tight pants with lightning signs at the sides, red knee and elbow paddings (on the right elbow pad is a tiny lightning decorative), he wears Red boots with black laces, a green mask with several decoratives.
(Full black Rod): Well look at the picture for crying out loud.

Wrestling Style: "Hardcore" luchador (you can compare him a little with RVD but Rod Lightning does more submission moves and kicks less)
Finishing Moves: Rod lightning closelines his opponent to the ground then looks at the crowd as he slowly cut's his throat signaling that this is the end Rod starts running and launches himself on the second rope then jumps on the third stalls for a second and then performs a backflip in mid-air twisting and turning his body crashing down on his grounded executing a devastating Twisting Lightningsault

Rod lightning Springboard moonsaults behind his opponents back, he then tucks in the opponent's head under his armpit then he looks at the crowd for a moment as he uses his unbelievable speed twisting his opponents neck crashing on the mat as he goes for the pin executing a devastating Thunder Breaker.
Entrance: Suddenly the lights are out and the entire arena is pitch-black.Ride the lightning blasts over the speakers as lightning strucks the entrance ramp. Rod Lightning appears from the stage, he walks towards the ring greeting his fans as a clip is aired on the Titan Tron, showing some of Rod Lightnings greatest victories and most powerful moves. Rod stands on the apron...he jumps with great agility over the top rope as fireworks explode from the four ringposts.
History and/or Bio: When he was a little child he grew up with wrestling. Rod's dad was a local Mexican 'hero' known as Los Guorantas Muchatas who achieved great thing in the late 80's, begin 90's. Rod's dad was his big hero and he trained every day because he also wanted to become a wrestling hero. His father was very worried about Rod, he was very fond of Rod and did not want his last son to be permanently scarred due to wrestling. In the beginning he was supporting Rod being a child who was training and learning wrestling moves...But that all changed until a month after they were both in a father&son tag-team match. A month after that event, Los Guorantas Muchatas suffered a severe neck injury in ring, at the time he was already 52, he was in a match against one of his big rivals to end their feud, however after being suplexed through a table (a bump he wished to take) he landed wrong and his neck kinda whiplashed. With great effort he was able to end his match, afterwards he was sent on a stretcher to a nearby hospital. At that point in his life he became obsessed with the safety of his only son...Rod. But Rod had already reached the age of 20, too old to control him, so after a 3 month break from professional wrestling, he decided Mexico wasn't the place to make a name for himself. So Rod traveled to America where he wrestled for a while in the Indy circuits where he captured a hardcore title once. Around this time his dad stopped trying to get him back to Mexico and accepted the fact that his son is making a name for himself in the United states of America. Rod eventually was noticed by J.J. Hunter who offered him a contract at MWA. Rod, desperately in need of a reliable place to work accepted his offer. Rod "Lightning" became a 2-time MWA world heavyweight champion, a one time MWA tag team champion (With Legend). He achieved many great things in MWA but who cares about that? All went well until 'that' day came...MWA was already struggling over leadership of the company and was wear bankruptcy. A Six Man Elimination Roulette Match at their final PPV was won by Falco Fusion, who then blew up the arena. MWA was destroyed on that day. A dark day in the mind of the Lightning. With that being said MWA was obviously closed and all the wrestlers scattered over the world. A few ending up together at a new place, desperately trying to re-establish MWA. Rod eventually made his way into IWF where he will do stuff and become gReAt sUUUperSTAR.
